A brief introduction
At The Noble Consultancy we have you covered. We adopt a project management role in many projects, as we work closely with and coordinate information between the client’s appointed civil and structural engineers, acoustic consultants, to mechanical and electrical consultants and SAP assessors. This means that all technical aspects are considered at the detailed design stage, ensuring that all relevant stakeholders have the correct and reliable technical information they require before they get to site.
We have a thorough understanding of Building Regulations and ensure various regulatory requirements are adhered to, offering our clients peace of mind. From Nationally Described Space Standards, M4 Parts 1, 2 and 3 of Building Regulations, to Affordable Housing specifications, we know what is required.
The process:
Stage 1 – Ground Works pack i.e. the general arrangement of floor showing where foundations are to be located and providing the site team all they need to enable them to pour the concrete.
Stage 2 – Super structure drawings covering every detail required above ground.
Stage 3 – Building Control Body Submission where technical drawings are submitted to comply with building regulations.
Stage 4 – Project management role which includes supplier liaison and checking of specialist designs e.g. door frames, roof trusses, window frames.
Stage 5 – On site support to facilitate and manage implementation and delivery.
Throughout all stages our team engage with the client to ensure there is an opportunity to comment on any variations required to be made to the technical working drawings. In some cases, the client may require 10 core house types to be incorporated into the residential development and technical drawings will need to be produced for each variation of house type.
